Welcome to Bonfire Field
We are a friendly Cricket Club situated in the heart of the Topsham community, where a warm welcome is awaiting members of all ages who want fun, enjoyment and competition.
Apart from running two teams on Saturdays in the DEVON CRICKET LEAGUE, there is also a Sunday team who play in the SOUTH DEVON LEAGUE, a T/20 team who play in the EXETER EVENING LEAGUE and a LADIES team.
There is a thriving COLTS section with some 160 children over the age of 6. The oldest ones play in the various adult teams and the younger ones are coached within their age groups. In 2012 we will be entering the EAST DEVON YOUTH CRICKET LEAGUE with 11-a-side teams at U14, U13 and U12 level and a Soft-Ball Pairs team at U10 level.
During the season NETS are held for ADULTS (Thursdays 6.15-8pm), LADIES Wednesdays 6.30-8pm) and Colts on Fridays between 5.45 and 8pm depending on age.
CONGRATULATIONS to 1st XI on becoming F DIVISION CHAMPIONS and gaining PROMOTION to E DIVISION. Also to the LADIES XI who are, once again, the DEVON WOMEN'S CHAMPIONS.
Also CONGRATULATIONS to TOM RICHARDSON who has been selected for the DEVON U16 SQUAD.
The 2012 FIXTURES for the Ist XI, 2nd XI, Sunday, Ladies and pre-season Matches can be found by following the 'Matches-Fixtures' tab. Those for the Colts will be added to the website as soon as they are available.
INDOOR NETS have been arranged to take place in the Sports Hall of EXETER SCHOOL on the following dates, all from 10am-12noon:-
Adults - 26 February, 11 March, 25 March, 15 April
Colts - 4 March, 18 March, 1 April, 22 April
The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be taking place in the Malthouse of The Globe Hotel, Topsham on TUESDAY, 21 FEBRUARY 2011. Please come and support your Committee and hear what is happening at the Club.
